What kinds of pipe can PIPE AI analyse?

 

Currently PIPE AI can analyse VC, AC, Concrete, PVC, and Brick pipe types.

 

What defects can PIPE AI detect? 

 

PIPE AI can detect over 100 defects across 60+ defect families (e.g. the “Crack” family contains simple, complex, longitudinal, circumferential cracks). For a full list of defects please contact us.

What files can PIPE AI process?

 

PIPE AI can process CCTV videos, images, laser and sonar imagery.

How quickly can footage be processed?

 

Currently, footage can be processed at 1.8x real-time speed, so a 9-minute video will be processed in 5 minutes.

 

What data does PIPE AI need to process an inspection?

 

You can choose to upload a single video, or upload a Wincan project folder. The latter option allows for PIPE AI to be placed into an existing workflow, where it can intercept the data on the way towards its archive destination.

How much does PIPE AI cost?

 

It depends on the market, utility size and length of the contract.

What environment does PIPE AI operate in?

PIPE AI can be deployed in an organisation’s AWS, Azure, or on-premise environments. We also offer a SaaS option (upload via web portal or API) for anyone who would prefer not to manage any infrastructure.

How does PIPE AI's artificial intelligence engine work?

 

PIPE AI detects general / simple defects with classical image processing, complex defects with machine learning / deep learning and applies customer specific ratings with a condition rating model. The overall solution leverages reinforcement learning and user classification. The data gathered from various sources is used in predictive analytics.
